One more day of Brainwashing before we hang Bush out to dry.

Been real busy working against insanity, not my own personal wackyness but rather our collective manic paranoid schizophrenia etc., evidenced by our crazed desire to make everyone think just like us without having thought for ourselves in the first place. Last week we participated as guest, sidekick, deejay and engineer in two political talk shows on a powerful AM station out of Moscow, Idaho. By Saturday, when I sang a couple songs at a Moscow music event, I was "famous". "Didn’t I hear you on the ray-dee-oh?" The songs I spun, MP3 files gleaned from a Google search for "anti-Bush songs", must have hit home. The station is 100 watts (a big fat lightbulb worth of power) at its peak, except when the heavy metal band in the adjoining studio is rehearsing, during which time the power is reduced to 51 watts to prevent interfering with the band whose amps pick up the radio program if broadcast at full power. Of course the radio program easily picks up the heavy metal screamers. We did an interview with a local candidate for the Idaho Legislature which was hard to hear due to the soft spoken ways of the candidate and the musically vociferous ways of a lead guitarist. After shuffling to different mikes the scene improved. We spun a few anti-Bush tunes, of which there are hundreds if not thousands. My favorite is "I'm Takin' My Country Back" from the website musicrowdemocrats.com. The lyrics are as follows:

Here's another I just wrote three days ago after seeing a bumper sticker which had become a mindsticker I could not shake after several weeks. It asked simply "What Country Would Jesus Bomb?" I thought about that for a long time and came up with this longer than a bumper sticker series of musical questions set to any tune that fits but loosely based on the tune from "I'm Takin' My Country Back":

Would he have fought & died in Viet Nam?
Would his money be heaven-sent,
Or would he struggle to pay the rent?

What Country would Jesus bomb?
North Korea, Iraq or Iran?
Would he make an evil axis list

Would he force us all to disarm?
If he were President would he lie
And send our sons and daughters off to die?
